Final Video - Accessing the CoB Intranet
For my final video, I opted to make the least exciting video possible (which I'm regretting watching all my classmate's videos). I decided to take a previous video that I made (that I wasn't exactly thrilled about) and spruce it up, fix some of the mistakes, and create an actual instructional video that is designed with Gagne's 9 Events in mind. The idea is to create something that catches your attention, tells you what it's going to tell you, tells you, and then lets you know what it just told you. I wanted to create something that will dovetail into what I am looking to do for my capstone (a measurable training for new employees) and I feel that this video will most definitely be included in the training that I am creating. I will say that I only use 1 framed shot- that made sense for the video; had I to do it over again, I would have maybe filmed the outro in a different location or angle.
I really had a stellar time in this class. Being forced each week to create a new video, while challenging (as evidenced by the time this was submitted) helped me grow so much. Additionally. the skills I've gained in actually creating video and my comfort on camera have been invaluable - I feel like my time on video and watching myself on video has led me to be a more comfortable presenter on zoom at work and in other classes as well. And the peer feedback is invaluable. Thanks, everyone, for the opportunity to collaborate and learn!
