Screen capture Video
Hello, I decided to do quick screen capture to remind folks to fill out their census if they have not already.
I was amazed at how simple this was. Initially I was going to overthink this process, but once I got into Camtasia, it made it so easy to trim the footage off on the end that I was done with the editing in less than 5 minutes. I did run through my script and edited it several times after I realized that I had included way more than I could fit in less than a minute. It was really helpful to have something to watch to make sure I hit the points I needed to, even if I did ad-lib it a bit in the final product.

Hello, I’m Aaron Snyder, and today I’m going to show you how to fill out your census online. Just a reminder that the census is very important - it’s used to determine what resources are allocated to your neighborhood and city.
You will need the mailing sent to your house - this mailing includes your Census ID. Once you have that in hand, head to My2020Census.gov using your favorite web browser.
Then, click on start questionnaire. If you’d like to take the census in a different language, there are options below.
Finally, enter the code sent to you on the site. From there, you’ll be taken through the census questions.
From there, you’ll be taken to the census questions - make sure you hit submit and verify that your answers were sent forward when you're done.
Remember, this year we only have until September 30th to fill out the census, so make sure to fill it out soon! Your voice counts!
