Ilearn - LEARN ABOUT SALINAS VALLEY PRIDE

I was really pleased at how easy it was to add information to Ilearn. For the banner,  I did just drag and drop it- but after conferring with my group mates, I found out I could have just added it while editing the text that was at the top there. I added a link to our organization's website - as that has all the information that we needed for the "course".  The assignments were straight forward- but also incredibly powerful. I was amazed at how much there was to digest there!

The quiz caught me off guard - I ended up putting my questions in the title, but that didn't so show I had to go through and edit it as folks were looking at my course. I also found the form to be so simple to add.

I added all my group to my class- and that was actually how I found out that it wasn't published - which was great! They helped me hone the class. It makes me wonder that when/if I start teaching how I will be able to get that same help! Thankfully, all the mistakes were easily rectified- and I'm sure students are VERY quick to let instructors know when stuff isn't working in the LMS. Grading was simple - you were able to just hit grade - no messy gradebooks (yet).

My group also discussed how much fun it was to see what other people are doing and to learn a bit more about them. It was probably one of the first really fun activities we had a chance to do together, and was especially fun watching us submitting work that passed or didn't pass based on how much we actually read.
